The New MAN Lion’s Coach 14E Debuts at Busworld 2025

The new MAN Lion’s Coach 14E, unveiled at Busworld 2025, represents the brand’s bold step toward an emission-free future in long-distance transportation. Displayed in a 53-seat StyleLine Select configuration, the vehicle stands out with its fully electric powertrain delivering 330 kW of continuous power.

Up to 650 Kilometers of Range

Thanks to its usable battery capacity of up to 480 kWh and fast-charging capability, the new Lion’s Coach 14E offers a range of up to 650 kilometers. These features make it an ideal choice for long-distance travel and tourism transport.

New Standards in Safety

The vehicle is equipped with an extensive range of systems that meet the latest active and passive safety standards, including:

Emergency Brake Assist (EBA Plus) with pedestrian detection
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with stop-and-go functionality
Lane Keeping Assist
OptiView camera-based system replacing traditional mirrors
MAN Safe StopAssist, specially designed for emergency situations

These technologies aim to provide drivers with maximum safety in both urban and long-haul conditions.

Sustainable and Intelligent Design

The new model is produced in facilities that comply with international environmental standards. Over 95% of its components are recyclable, and MAN applies a responsible life cycle management approach to its battery systems.

Aerodynamic improvements also play a key role: the smart design significantly reduces the drag coefficient, while maintaining the same luggage capacity as the diesel version. This ensures comfortable and efficient transport for up to 63 passengers.

At the launch, Barbaros Oktay, Head of the Bus Division at MAN Truck & Bus, stated:

This visionary approach has also been recognized internationally the MAN Lion’s Coach E was awarded the title of “Sustainable Bus of the Year 2026.”
